Validity of Guam Divorce

Guam Code Annotated Section 8318 of Title 19 states
:
The parties may conclusively waive any objections which they may have as to the jurisdiction of the court to grant a divorce or dissolution of marriage to either one or both parties, which waiver shall conclusively bar any future attack upon the jurisdiction of the court to grant a divorce or dissolution of marriage to the parties pursuant to the provisions of the codes of Guam, and the court shall grant a divorce or dissolution of marriage based upon the consent of the Defendant regardless of whether either of the parties meet any of the foregoing residency requirements, and shall grant a divorce or dissolution of marriage even if neither party is a resident of Guam upon the consent of the Defendant.
